Simcha Jacobovici is Getting Warmer!

There was a recent election commercial in Columbus, Ohio, that has a teacher saying, "I tell my students not to believe everything they hear." That is excellent advice. Even this blog requires validation.

Simcha Jacobocivi has produced a couple of very disputed documentaries. "The Lost Tomb of Jesus (sic)," and "The Nails of the Cross."

"The Lost Tomb of Jesus(sic)," I have seen a number of times and I have posted videos and blogs concerning it. It features solid scientific archeological data that scientists do not refute. It also features some unfortunate guesses that leave some of us shaking our heads.

But I would like to know how close Simcha can get without tripping over the realization that he is revealing an honorable family member, Yehoshua bar Yoseiph! Simcha has yet to understand history evidently because he calls him by a Roman/Anglican name of an idol/offender. The reason for this, it is said, is that no one will understand who is being presented if his real name is used. In Torah Judaism that doesn't fly. It is forbidden to defame another Jew unless it is known he is an evil person. Was Yehoshua bar Yoseiph an evil person?

Jacobovici writes at, http://jamestabor.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/The-Nails-of-the-Cross_June22.pdf, "There are at least two parallel stories in the
Mishnaic literature explicitly referencing Jesus." Indeed if these were to be referencing "Jesus," how does Jacobovici know that these references or all of the supposed references to "Jesus," are not referring to what was the church remake from the original Yehoshua bar Yoseiph? Remember when the Talmud and even later Mishnaic sources were penned? A hundred or more years after the expulsion of all the Jews in 135 CE! Who are the Talmudic sages deriding? "JESUS!" not the Torah observant Yehoshua bar Yoseiph! Remember Simcha the followers like "James the Just," Ya'acov bar Yoseiph akh Yehoshua? What does Josephus say about him? Shomer Torah to be sure! The ossuary of Ya'acov is of a Torah Jew, that ossuary you helped reveal authentic with superb science, a Jew that followed the teaching of his brother - another shomer Torah Jew.

Why do you continue to tie and even call Yehoshua bar Yoseiph by the Roman make-up Jesus? You of all people should look at the objective evidence, Jewish tomb, ossuaries, and inscriptions, and reject the Roman rewrite including the Hellenist writings. Their own scholars acknowledge their glaring inconsistencies.

Finally some excerpts from, "The Nails of the Cross."

"This is understandable but it should not lead us to deny the archaeological evidence that might relate to those Jews who followed Jesus (sic) in the first century."
Simcha, it is Ribi Yehoshua!

"The sad fact is, however, that most (not all) Israeli archaeologists know virtually nothing about Christianity generally, and Judeo-Christianity in particular."
Simcha, as you alluded to, enough know enough about Christianity and are aiding and abetting it. Simcha, there is no, no, no, such thing as Judeo-Christian. Yehoshua was Torah observant. Judeo-Christian is in the category of "believing everything you hear."

"They have no idea of the Jesus (sic) movement as a Jewish phenomenon that might have left behind an archaeological record."

Wow Simcha, changing the names do make a difference! If you wrote Yehoshua bar Yoseiph, in the previous statement then you have a logical statement. Jesus didn't exist until the 2nd century or later! He doesn't have a tomb, ossuary, or inscription because the name isn't even Jewish!
